Archives of High School

Archives of High School was so short-lived and insignificant that it hardly warrants its own page. The project overlapped in time with Bonis Productions, lasting for less than a week and releasing only two videos before it was discontinued in June, 2016. The concept was essentially to publicize my writing from high school by turning research/literary assignments into educational videos. Thus, I would be turning my hard work into something that anyone could appreciate. Unfortunately, the first two episodes were over ten minutes of dull content, prompting me to scrap the channel as quickly as it began and to focus more attention on Bonis Productions. Still, I think the videos are worthy of remaining public.

The Progressive Conservative
I uploaded this public video on May 28, 2016 and it features only me. The channel's first video covered an assignment from world history class in which we were tasked with answering the following question in magazine-form: "In what ways are the ideals of the Scientific Revolution and the Enlightenment still relevant to the 21st century?" My group titled our magazine, 'The Progressive Conservative,' and then each member focused on a topic related to that theme. Since the 2016 Presidential Election was in the headlines, I decided to write about Republican candidate Ted Cruz's tax policy. Unfortunately, he dropped out of the race before I finished the article. How much did you already know about Ted?

A Raisin in the Sun
I uploaded this public video on June 1, 2016 and it features only me. The second (and final) episode on Archives of High School discussed my English essay for Lorraine Hansberry's play, A Raisin in the Sun, which was one of my favorite books from class that year. If you look at the comment section below, you'll see that my younger brother kindly wrote, "Am I dreaming, or have I found the truly most boring YouTube video[‽]" Is it really worse than my video literally titled, "The Most Boring Video on YouTube"?
